Your gamma is just turned up to high??? It depends how big the room is that you added the light, perhaps the light is just too bright??

Posted 17 years ago2006-11-30 22:02:57 UTC Post #204690
Is it like, fullbright? Or do you just think the map is too bright?

It may be leaks

It sure sounds like it.

nope, wasnt a leak.

Well, it could be any number of things. Check for errors, look through the compile log, or just post it in the Problem Maps section.

? Did you run RAD?

? Do you have a LEAK?

? Did your compile finish much faster than usual?

? If yes to the previous one, post the log, you have a CSG or BSP error.

one question

did you test the map first full-bright and it froze?

Post your compiling log, a leak isn't the only cause for full brightness.

ok, i sent the map to 'unfinished maps' have a look.,

Have a look? At what? The problem? Can't have a look at the problem without the rmf file. If you want us to fix your problem, you need to upload the rmf file and upload it to the Problem Maps vault.

For the 24352th time: post the contents of your logfile. The logfile is located in the same directory as where you export your .map file. File extention is .log. If there's no log file, recompile.

24352th
Ahem. 24353rd time? :P

Anywho - Muzz's right.
We can't help, unless you either post the .rmf in the problem maps vault, or post the compile log.

ALRIGHT....to straighten things out: HAVE A LOOK ment, have a look at the map in game so perhaps you may know whats wrong looking at it.

For fuck's sake, just shut the fuck up and post the compile log. Jesus Christ, if you want help, obey what the people who are trying to help you say.
