Hi only have the half-life version of steam, the problem is all my models dont display the mod background, or splash screen, or logo.avi, neither the costom interface, since im thinking of making a mod, ho do i overcome this?

Ive checked counter strike and their background is divided in a lot of small tga images, how do i make a background like this ? How do i make my gamestartupmusic.mp3 play? cause the only one that plays is the counter strike music, plus how do i change the main menu options? I cant find anything on that metter, not even in Verc, and change the bts_main.bmp doesnt work in steam.

Does anyone knows something about these problems ?

One more thing, is it possible to costumize the menu, so i eliminate the options of new "lan/ network game" and all that mambo jambo, i wish my mod menu was just:

"new game"
"options"
"change game"
"credits" (if its possible to make something like a credits screen)
"quit"

Can someone help me please? thank you very much. :glad:

I now know it has to do with the .res files in the resource folder, its easy to edit, i made a "credits" button, but i cand make a new dialog window to put my credits in, apparently there is a list of "available" commands you can link to a button, but how do i create and modify new dialogs that are a .res file alone, where can i find them ? a list of commands or something like it ?
