If you notice, in HL2 The Lost coast, the sun will fade in and out sometimes due to clouds passing within its path, does anyone know how to make this effect? ive looked for tutorials and i havent been able to find any. :

Well seeing as Lost Coast is a HDR presentation I assume HDR is the main way of doing it but perhaps either the clouds are a model that flies in front of the sun or you just assume the sun changing all the time is because of clouds when in fact HDR always changes like that...
