I've been trying to turn monsterclip off then on. I tried trigger_relays or by just directly activating the monsterclip..but both didnt work.

As it says in the HL Entity Guide:
Name (targetname) - This entity can be triggered to turn it on and off.
It is possible. But how? :(

Hmmmm, how are you triggering the monsterclip?

And what do you need the monsterclip for?

I already said how I triggered the monsterclip, by triggering trigger_relays set to on or off which they target the monsterclip.

I need to trap a monster in a location after it enters there. So...monsterclip off-> the monster enters-> monsterclip on-> the monster(trapped) stays.

Took a quick look in the code, func_monsterclip is based off func_wall, so nope, it can't be toggled.
