It probably dosn't bother anyone else, cause noone seem to have complained yet. But anyway...

In hammer, all the textures have the path before the name and stuff... but, what i'm asking is, is there a way to have the textures name JUST contain the texture name, like in HL1 hammer?

[EDIT]: This is, no doubt, the only reason I haven't switched to source mapping yet.

Yeah.. How about when you create a cylinder, then make the outline for a new block and forget to switch the primitive type back to block and it creates a cilynder and all your hard work aligning the outline is gone forever!!

Don't you hate and can't stand mapping for GldSrc because of horrible annoyances like that? :nervous:

That's the shittiest reason ever.

WHY do you need to only see the names?
There is no reason too, as huntey said.

The path infront of the texture name infact makes things easier.
Using the path and the filter you can easily filter so that you only see textures from certain folders, for example, custom materials, sprites etc etc.

And if you are looking for a wall texture, just search wall??
