my first comp was a commedore 64, i still have it then i had one wiht dos and then i had one wiht windows 3.11(pepper looks back to good ol times) :)

I think I had DOS 1.0 at one point. Still have the floppy somewhere. Ahh, those really big, old floppies.

C=64 and a Spectrum ZX128 or summat. Then an 8088 with DOS 6.22 and DOSSHELL which was like "wow pretty".

Wasn't it a Sinclair ZX Spectrum? Loaded with audio tapes?
A day to load a tape only to find that the data was corrupt, although I did make an acceptable version of Tanks.

Oh, showing my age now :-)

I had an Acorn computer once. I plugged my tape-player in and played some old, very old games!

Ahhhhh, the good old days... all I had was a Tandy CoCo. No hard drive or floppy, but for $15 you could buy a cable that let you use a tape recorder as storage. No monitor, let's unplug the Atari so we can plug this in. Now that I think about it, I should have asked for an IntelliVision instead of a computer. ;)

i have a Commodre 64 with floppy drive, Acorn v1 with tape-player, 386IBM with Windwos 3.1 and some really old machine with DOS 1.0
