thats what i keep getting while playing the Counter Life mod, ive googled it and all i found was that its a common problem while using either AMxmod and/or bots, and im using neither, so anyone has any idea?

I had a problem getting Counter-Life to work too, but i finally got it working. I don't really know what i did besides reinstalling a couple of times and I deleted all my dlls in the HL folder (steam replaces the ones you need afaik)

I have no idea if the dlls were a factor, but you could try it i guess! I've found i've had trouble with other older mods too like wanted! where the same thing happens: I install it doesn't work, i delete/reinstall or redownload it from another source and it works somehow = )

hmm well , i dont have steam (nor do i plan on getting it either),
im playing my old GOTY 3 cd version, most mods i play
besides CL works just fine, Darkstar, Paranoia, Hunger etc
but CL crashes every now n then with various error msgs,
maybe cuss its still a Beta ..? I dunno, all i know is
that i love playing CL (except for when it crashes lol)
They removed all the cheats from in it so one cant simply
noclip past those 3 big peckers (that part of CL
is like 25 savegames haha) ^^

Yeah I like the CL mod is an awesome idea, but i wish some things were done cleaner like how you buy weapons. i have to download it again and check it out! = >

doesnt seem to be much activity on their
page on the modlist (im the only one thats
actually said something for ages on it)
so maybe you should take it up on your own
to finish the beta??
