Ok so there is this part in my map where I don't want the NPC to go a certain way so I go in-game in order to disconnect some node links. I type wc_edit_links, see the links and disconnected all the links I don't want, finish, type quit in console and in Hammer I see the lines I've disconnected but when I compile and run the map the links become connected again and once again the NPC runs the same old path despite the fact that I've disconnected it. So I go back into map_edit and I see that the links are in fact connected once again.

What am I doing wrong? Can anybody explain please?
