Hello,
I am following the tutorial on rimrook site about modelling and i have a problem with the box because on two sides the angle is not the good one.
How to fix angle of 1 face ?

First, Collapse the modifier so you can keep the sides that look good. Right Click the modifier on the stack and select collapse to or all and click yes.

In editable poly, choose face selection and select all of on side that isn't aligned properly.

reapply the UVW Mapping modifier, it will only apply to the selected faces.

Click the [+] next to the UVW Mapping modifier, it opens up and displays -Gizmo. Select it and you now have full control over the orange projection gizmo on your box. You can scale, move, and rotate the texture. Simply rotate it until it appears correct.

Collapse and repeat if necessary.

i get this when i want to export to smd

Writing 3 Node(s)...
  • "Box01"
  • "Bone01"
  • "Bone02"
Writing Animation...
  • Exporting single reference frame for 3 node(s)
Writing Meshes...
  • "Box01"
WARNING: Material on mesh "Box01" was neither type Standard or Multi/Sub-Object. Skipping mesh.

i use the new one from wunderboy http://www.wunderboy.org/sourceapps.php
because the old ones are incompatible with 3dsmax 2009 there is an option to export to hl1 but it doesn't work too :(
