I've had this problem for a while, but now I'd really like to get these things working.
For some reason, when I use the console command map {mapname}, the map loads fine and everything. However, when I press F, my flashlight does not turn on, not even a click sound. And then when I try to push physics objects with E, nothing happens (doors/buttons work though).
I'm not sure what the problem is since both E and F work on any server I join.
Any possible solutions to this problem?

if it's a multiplayer map, creating a server is what you need. The "map" command should be used for single player only.

It is a multiplayer map, but I've had friends join onto it before. Or is it that flashlight and USE don't work when you load a map with the map command?

Indeed. The map command loads a map into single player mode (minus HEV suit etc)

Awesome! Flashlight works!
So does USE but I think it wasn't working previously because I was on a server that disabled it. Thanks
