Ok I've compilled and run a new map that I am working on, to test. The Window didn't show any error messeges (that I could find) and when I got in the game there were no weps or life who-za-what's-it's or anything just the map. I've seen this happen in other maps but, now it's happened to me and I don't know how to fix it. Please help.

Thanks.

Are the items on world brushes?
Stuff falls right through a func_wall!

Are the items placed at least 16 units above the surface?
Compiling will drop them to correct level and sometimes having them too close can cause problems.

If this is the entity bug, the known cause is usually an overly complex map, the problem is that there is no real fix

No, I dind't put any weps on the ground... It's the default weps, and the numbers for ammo and armour and stuff that are not showing up on the screen like they should.

uhm, you start it up trough your console with "map mapname"?? If you do that, you dont get a weapon/health/hevsuit counter...
You just need to start a multiplayer game running your map, and your problem (should) be solved.

Either put an item_suit in the map on top of the spawn, or make it a multiplayer map by putting in a few info_player_deathmatches and create a LAN server playing the map.

If this is for CS, dont run it through hammer/console(HLDM too :), instead make a Local Area Network server.

I fixed it. I had problems compiling in expert so I compiled it in normal. There were no guns. When I compiled in expert, again, it worked. (YAY!)
