I don't know NineTnine, if they even have recording facilities (which I'm not sure about) they don't just want random people waltzing in and using their equipment like that. Anyway, like I said, I spent a bunch of money on this real nice microphone ($200+), and it sounds great. I'm just getting a lot of background noise from partying neighbors and stuff right now. My recordings sound perfectly acceptable. If only I wasn't working in an upstairs bedroom sandwiched next to college students, it'd sound even better.
However I have had to start all over now, making everything in 8 bit mono 11050 hz just to be sure it meets Valve specs. It turns out just as fuzzy as the original voices.
Oh, and I'm in 10th grade BTW.
