Today is my 20th birthday! Its pretty weird not being a teenager any more I feel so old. Ive been a member of this site for a little over four and a half years now and its helped me so much to become a better mapper. I remember back than when the first thing I learned from this site was how to make a func_rotating and I made a ceiling fan. Than I made a button that triggered it and began exploring with everything. The feelings I would get from creating things with "worldcraft" were so awesome. Exploring with blue and purple lighting to make bizzare ambience and mood. Noclipping through halflife1 for the first time. Drawing and planning maps to pass time in class in highschool. I don't think ill ever stop mapping...

Happy birthday !

Sheesh, I'm going be 16 soon, and I feel old lol ! If I could, I would never leave age 15 . I would like to always be like this. Partly because last summer was the greatest summer of my life ... and partly because it's great to be 15 :D

I forgot to mention my B-day was the 29th of January. Not like you guys cared anyway. :P

Ha, I'm older than Striker, I knew it.

Edit: Oh, and striker, 16 is definitely going to be better than 15, or to be more precise, about 6 months after you get your permit! ;)

My Birthday is in 15 april . You know 2012 is the end of the world ? Well, also in 2012 15 april is the first day of easter ( jesus revival ).
Also , in 93' ( when I was born) 15 april was the first easter day. This kinda scares me.

I don't know about you ATdestroy, but I have to wait 2 more years to get a driver license ( or what do you mean by "permit" ? )

Mmmm.....20 years old you say, well this brings you within just one short year of the magic 21. Yea, 21 is when you can in most places (assuming you are from the U.S.) legally walk in to any bar with a big smile on your face and order a cold draft beer. Enjoy the start of your 20's something's.

Oh we can do that at the slender age of 18 in the UK. BEER PLEASE.

I'm 20 soon as well D: But I consider 21 to be the last year of teensville.

As for mapping, you may stop, but you'll come back.

Heh, legal age to buy alcohol = 18

Age Urby was buying alcohol = 15

Funny thing is, as soon as its legal, alcohol seems pretty boring after a while. I'm 22 and the last time I got drunk was a couple of years ago.

Maybe what you need is something a bit more exiting to get you back in the groove of drinking. So, upgrade from beer to the good stuff, go for the best, try some Puerto Rican Rum:

Note: If you do try some Bacardi 151, make sure you mix it with something else, unless of course you think you are a real hardcore man-drinker, then by all means drink it straight, that's if you have the balls.

Uhm, I already drink Vodka (sometimes neat), Tequila (sometimes neat), Scotch (on the rocks) and the occasional Rum.

Oh and should the mood take me I drink white / ros? wine. Not a fan of red but thats all I have in at the moment.

...gets a glass anyway

Anyway, the point is, I rarely drink or feel the need to these days.

He's right, you should do coke.
Bacardi 151, make sure you mix it with something else
This is true, it's basically gasoline. Two of my friends can chug it though. I need mine in cola.

nothing in his post made it out to be a joke. all he said was:
Don't get drunk and kill yourself in a crash, OK?
I think it was more of a "keep it in mind" kind of thing.
