I've been trying for hours on end now, but I just can't seem to fix this leak! If anyone is willing to give it a shot, I would greatly appreciate it.

In case you didn't already know:
load the point file in hammer(under the map menu in hammer), but don't load the .pts but the .lin file. You'll have a zigzagging line throughout your map; where the line turns from from blue to red should be close to or exactly where your leak is. If you have multiple leaks, you'll have to to do this for each leak, as it only shows you one at a time.

Use "big block" method to isolate where the leak is if you're having problems with the first method. This consists of using big world blocks to "block off" big sections of your map, to help isolate what location the leak is coming from.

Remember any entities touching the outside world will instantly cause leaks!

Can't find the leak huh?
Always look from beneath your map. AND.. i'd recommend making your floor larger than one unit. I always use at LEAST 16 units.
plus you have some nasty clipping from under-neath... noted here

So check out those problems, and get back to us. You may still have a leak only because your mapping is a bit sloppy (Everyone's is, really) but i'm sure if you take the time to clean it up it'll turn out just fine.

Sorry, it seems I made a brush to cover that up, it just wasn't in my latest .rmf. Try downloading it now, I seriously can't find this leak.I do greatly appreciate your help though, and the images were quite humorous as well as helpful.

That seems like a complicated skybox.

I haven't got leaks in ages. Ok, I haven't mapped in ages. But most of them were stupid things like forgetting to put the "roof cover" sky on the box. Like this:

. . . . . . . . . . <huge window to the void
I . . . . . . . . I
I . . . . . . . . I <walls
I map and stuff I
----------------- <floor

After I learned I had to put a brush covered in "sky", that is. It took me like 2 test maps to figure out what was wrong with leaving things "outdoors" :P

(edit: what? no bbcode for monospace fonts?)

Alright, thank you all so much for your help. Only using the .lin file did the trick. I'm sure you'll be hearing from me again soon.
