I've recently looked at what GPU-Z said about my 6800XT and it's a bit weird to me. It says it's an AGP x8 card yet it's running at PCI settings.Eh?

PC World Australia said something about changing the speed in the BIOS to whatever maxium speed the card supports, but is it really okay to do so...? Just a bit paranoid due to last incident when I unlocked some pipelines which ended up with 50 billion BSOD's and other crashes.
