Meh, I'm not saying you should download only FLAC rips - but youtube quality really is terrible. At least go for 192Kbit MP3s (or equivalent). Shouldn't be too hard to track down.

jdownloader + rapidshare = no bandwidth hogging = moar happy network users.
Much better than torrents if you have multiple users on the same connection. It's also better for old downloads that don't get any seeds.

There are entire forums dedicated to rapidshare/megaupload/general hosting sharing.
