Well, I have an IRC server! It doesn't have a domain name yet though. And, it isn't always up. But, if you see me on IRC, type /server -m then my host name. Whois me first as my hostname switches between a 80.x.x.x address and a 64.x.x.x address. It took ages to setup properly without a hostname. Hopefully, when I finish my new website, I will buy a DNS to a domain name and host my site and IRC on the same name. And, when I fix my computer, I will put it my server on there with broadband and run it 24/7! :)

www.no-ip.com

Recommended by craash420 and highly recommended by me :)
I have dynamic-IP ADSL and I use my addy for my FTP server.

What software are you using for your IRC server? Sounds fun; is it freeware?

UnrealIRCd 3.2 is the server I am using. Really easy to set up! Just do some little editing of the example file in notepad and it works!
