Hey guys,
I am still new to mapping, just making my second map now. However I am using custom textures that are pretty high quality and I noticed while compiling I am getting a warning in my log that I am at 3.5mb of a possible 4mb texture limit. Is there anyway to use more than 4mb of textures? How can I do that?

you can use up to 32mb with the SHLT tools.

Do you use batch compiler?

If you do, go to Shared card > Texture data

Edit it to 8192 / 16384 / 32768 or how does it suit you.

Sorry I am a little confused about what to do. I am using zhlt to compile my maps. How would I increase the limit using that ?

The Mighty Atom, from this very site created a great standalone app which makes it super easy to control all aspects of your compile, whether you're using SHLT or ZHLT.
The Compilator
There's a much better version in beta testing right now as well, so if you find it a bit clunky, don't worry, it'll be improved soon!

Oh, and consider getting SHLT. It's a lot better.

As Huntey said, Atoms compiler is very easy to use, and it is much more advanced than the built in VHE compiler.

Muzz's The Compilator is not a compiler. It's a GUI.
