Well when i run hammer 3.5 i select the selection tool but when i click on something like a wall it dosent go red so i have to do it by the map which is despressing and i dont know how to fix this error.

Hammer 3.5 is an upgrade to Hammer 3.4, which are both editors for the GoldSource engine. You've posted in the Source engine discussion forum. Hammer 4 and up (accessable through the Source SDK) only works for Source engine games.

Please make yourself clear.

Well i guess he's mapping for GoldSource.
