So, Steam got this update.
When I try to use voice communications, it fails.
Nothing else makes sound.
My friend is having the same dilemna.

WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON!?

Try plugging in your speakers, that might help.

Well your computer isn't detecting the speakers, so it could be they aren't plugged in. If thats not the case it could be sound card malfuction, which means buying a new one. Then again, it could be a problem with your speaker, plug in headphones or another speaker and see if they work.

What are you all on about, your sound card drivers are either failing or are simply not installed, it has absolutely nothing to do with 'speakers'.

Nope, it didn't. I was about to argue the same as Crollo.

Dimbark, try reinstalling your drivers. Something f'd em up.
