lol we all already know you are poor Urby, it's really getting tired... =)

Besides i've already told you the solution to your problem, and that is to take whatever money your spending on food for the next week or so, and save it for a new game; meantime, you can live on crackers, ketchup packets, and water np =P

I've had it for a while but I haven't had a chance to play it. It is apparently very good though.

I play it occasionally. You need to play it with friends or it's boring.

My friends and I still play it occasionally, one of the better co-op games out there IMO. Much more variety than the original.

I don't know what the pub scene is like, pub L4D can be... frustrating at times, lol.

[edit] pretty much what Potatis said. It's a great game to have in your pocket for the odd time your friends want to play something. Friends + voicechat are pretty much obligatory for that game.

[double edit] I just bought Arkham City because I've heard it's very good and it was 75% off. Anyone know if the story directly continues from Arkham Asylum? I've got enough change leftover to get it if I need to. Can I just start on the second game without missing out on much story?
Posted 11 years ago2012-11-26 21:15:41 UTC Post #311195
For me L4D and L4D2 didn't have much replay value, but the initial playthrough (with friends as said above) can be really fun.
Posted 11 years ago2012-11-26 21:55:10 UTC Post #311200
I've played Arkham City on the Xbox. It's definitely good, but there isn't too much you're missing from Arkham Asylum, as far as I know. I haven't played Arkham Asylum myself yet. After I finished Arkham City I found I really wanted to play Arkham Asylum, but most of the story from the first game can be picked up here and there in the second.

Cool, I'll save the five bucks for another game then. Eyes on the flash sales!

So far I've bought Dead Island (one of my friends plays it a lot) and Magicka. Also got Mirror's Edge for two of my friends who wanted it, since it was $3.

Mirrors edge is great. Totally worth $3. That's a steal.
Posted 11 years ago2012-11-27 02:04:28 UTC Post #311209
Dead Island - That game could have been so much better. It gets dull about 30% of the way in and the last level is a joke. You can tell the level designers just didn't give a fuck anymore.

Might anyone in the US be willing buy me csgo, paying on steam in euros rather than $ is more expensive.

Rufee the prices are not adjusted? So a $5 USD game costs 5 euros? That sucks!

Oh, wait, nevermind. I'm dumb. If CS:GO was five bucks still I'd have gifted it to you in trade for a 5 euro game, but CS:GO is $15 now and I've only got $5.97 in my wallet :/

Wait a minute... Euros are worth more than USD...

I declare shenanigans.
Posted 11 years ago2012-11-29 12:12:29 UTC Post #311228
In the world a euro is about as much as 1$, atleast that is steams logic.
In Lithuania one euro is 3.5Lt and one $ is 2.6Lt, you get the point.

for a 10$ Steam game(35 in my currency), I pay 10 Euro because I'm in Europe( that's 45 in my currency).

Let's assume though a more expensive game, like the newly released FarCry 3, which is 50$( 175 in my currency). That is 50 euro because I'm in Europe, and that is 225 in my currency. I pay almost ~14$ more and my country's economy isn't even comparable to western European countries or to USA.

Oh and also, I've seen games that are cheaper to buy on a physical support than on steam. Where's the logic in that? :

Steam is great for what it is, but new games are more expensive here imo.

Be thankful you're not a console gamer.

New UK releases on PC tend to stay around £24.99 - £29.99 but on consoles they're a minimum of £34.99 and can be as much as £49.99!

Fuck consoles I say.

Steam's European prices include the VAT, don't they? So the games aren't much more expensive here than in the USA if you don't count tax. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Standard price for a new PC game in sweden (which is in Europe) is pretty much always 45£. Taxes are high as fuck.
