Tet: you should be able to get the entire Adobe suite at a student discount directly from adobe OR maybe if you speak to someone in the department of Art/design at your school maybe they have other ways to hook you up?

I still have CS2 from when I bought it. Cool to know its free now. That normals trick is a good way to externally adjust the depth. Good to know, will perhaps use it someday.
