Hi guys, its been a LONG time since I was here, and Ive come to see if anyone can offer any info. Let me start by saying this is a tf2 map, but Im pretty sure that both CSS and YF2 handle item_teamflag the same way... hopefully... lol. In this map, there will be an achievements section. There are achievements for capturing the enemy intelligence a certain amount of times and so on. The problem is, after the intel has been captured 3 times, the round ends and restarts the map.... Ive played achievement maps where the author has obviously figured this out... when you obtain the intel, no audio plays, and when you capture the intel, you still get credited for the caputre but the server doesnt count the capture towards the limt. Any ideas?

If you can parent an entity to the intel flag entity you can make it work with your own counter system that is separate from the game rules.

Thats what im talking about.... i hate to sound like a noob, but when it comes to CTF, Im a complete noob... been mapping for over 10 years, and I have never made a CTF map period.... any details in what your saying would be greatly appreciated.

Felling kinda silly now, it was as simple as setting the game mode in item_teamflag to "territory control" instead of ctf.
