Introduction

KGB is based on a map called kgb2 which is from a 1998 fps called Action Quake 2. The images above are taken from kgb2. Due to the layout and symmetrical nature I believe that this would work well as a gungame or deathmatch map on CS:GO.

Testing Phases

I have just begun making the map. Before the map is released it will go through 3 different phases: alpha, beta and final. Each phase will have different versions working towards the next phase. I will explain what each entail below.

ALPHA: The alpha phase will be the first phase. The map will be completed using developer textures as aesthetics are not a priority. Therefore features that aren't crucial to the gameplay will not be added such as HDR, surrounding map environment, cubemaps and lighting will be kept to a minimum. During alpha I will be focusing on gameplay issues such as bugs, glitches and balancing issues. Any major overhaul to the map will be made at this stage.

BETA: The beta phase will be the second phase. Complaints from alpha will have been addressed. During the beta the map should balanced and have little to no issues relating to the gameplay. The map will be aesthetically pleasing and will look just as good as the final version. Any more issues that have cropped up will be addressed.

FINAL: The map will be 100% ready. The final phase is the last phase and is the complete map. All issues will have been resolved by this stage and the map will be optimized.

The map is obviously subject to change depending on balancing issues and your opinions, so please; if you have any ideas for the map or any constructive criticism at all please post them below. Your opinion is crucial to the success of this map.
