i was trying to do it this way but im not sure what file your talking about that is supposed to be on the left. none of mine even look close to that. also can i include my text file and sounds somehow?

Including the Textures: Method 1
This is the simplest way, which works with both the default WorldCraft compile tools (the ones you get with WorldCraft), as well as with Zoner's Compile Tools (what real mappers use :) - they're free anyway. Go get them!).
When you're ready to test your map, press F9 or click the Run Map button, but then click the Expert button at the bottom, and you should see a list of commands to the left. Find the one that is similar to 'C:program filesworldcraftqcsg.exe' (or 'hlcsg.exe' if you are using Zoner's Tools), click it, and add -nowadtextures to the end.

Use Hammer, not Worldcraft. No, you can't include other files.

seventh monkey you seem to know what your talking about. ive seen you in almost every forum. i am using hammer though. are you sure there isnt a way to group it in 1 file? maybe a different program could do it if i downloaded it?

I dont think there is. You can do it for textures but nothing else. For sound you will have to include the .wav file with the map. Unless I'm mistaken of course...

'Fraid not; the only things you can include in BSPs are WADs. If you need extra files to be downloaded from a game server, such as for CS, then use a RES index thing; there's a tutorial on it at this site.
