Hello I have noticed that a lot of people here are using blender. Just wanted to ask what are must have addons on blender.
Also is there any like grid lock addon, that would make modeling more VHE stile, because when I'm modeling I get a lot of misshapes, and spend a lot of time trying to make things proportional, having grid lock like in VHE would make my life easier.

Not sure if there's a gridlock, but if you hold CTRL while manipulating anything it'll snap to grid.
And you can always manually type in coordinates of objects and vertices

You can also click on the magnetic icon and select from different types of snapping. To make sure everything is fitting in their exact space, when using entire levels, i import my maps to 3dax with Wallworm, then export-import to Blender.
It was a pain in the arse at first, but i'm getting the hang of it.
