Why Can't I upload a new Avatar?

Uh, what exactly happens? Page closes, gives you an error message (or maybe its not a valid .jpg)

1. I go to modify my profile
2. Click 'upload' beneth my current Avatar
3. Browse and choose my new 72x72 jpeg
4. Click upload
5. It brings me to the popup page with Avatars to choos from, plus my old one on the left....wheres the one I just uploaded?

Choose the old one, click Submit or whatever, and then look at your profile (click "My Profile" on the sidebar). When it appears, press F5.
