lol pirate pants
Maybe that's his nickname?
...Anyway, yea I like how that is coming along. Is it worth doing the detatchable limb system? So you could blow the head off one if you're lucky? It doesn't have to be necessary, but I mean what better way to destroy a zombie quickly

im going to skin the model. and that head blwoing off stuff, you know what your asking me??? i would make 10 special animatiosn for it wich will be random triggered if you hit the head. and someone need to code it. damn, thats gonna ask for more then 10 models, probably 11......omg..

Cool, I like the stance and posture. Very zombie-like. Try to make it walk (shuffle along) really slowly with it's head leaning to the side. That way it'll be like the zombies in Zombie Flesh Eaters.

P.s, Modelling, I dont even know how you people can understand that stuff - I once owned (hehe-owned) StudioMax, and it had so many buttons and stuff that I gave it up instantly - far too complicated if you ask me, well unlike hammer

lol, i just made a panzerfaust in 20 minutes textured and all in milkshape its a mod for the ghost recon mod: war of infamy, WWIi offcourse, il model tommrow a kubelwagen for it and then i hope i got the uvmapping under control

You use milkshape for modelling? I've tried it once and it sux like hell. This is probably the most uncomfortable modelling program you can buy for money. If it hadn't all those file convertion features I would have deleted it long ago.

erm, most experienced modelers started wiht milkshape, and it is very easy to use. the problem wiht people is that they dont read the tutorials right, if it says makes faces counter-clockwise you should do that. and not the otherway. it will prevent backfaces.

What I don't like about milkshape is the interface. It tries to be like 3Dsmax, but it fails. You cannot do anything with the keyboard. You have click around 10 times before you can do some simple extrusion. I prefer blender, it's very easy to control once you learned it and it's for free and has a very good renderer.

bleh, noobs(soory, jsut wnat to say that)
i put the zombie on a back fire for a few moments, until im better in uvmapping, for that im gonna make a shotgun for the mod. its a mossberg 500. wiht costum animations.
tell me if you want any other specific weapon jazhel. im wasting my time wiht typing now so excuse me ,i got to model

i just spent the last hour grouping each part of the model(mossberg500) and making sure it was grouped right :zonked:. now the uvmappign should be easy

Yeah, old fashioned shotguns rock! The trigger still looks a bit chiseled. Maybe making the barrel a bit thicker could make the weapon appear more powerfull.

so here is what oyu all have been waiting for. after 30 mintues of modeling. 1 hour of grouping 1 hour of ivmapping and 2 hours of texturing, i textured it. now all that is left is animating. obviously il make a standard shotgun replacement for jazhel so he can test it in game [img]http://www.xs4all.nl/~dewitnel/peppersplanet/1.jpg[.img]

PEPPER! You mentioned double shotguns with flip animation, you mean like terminator style or Cajj style (see "dual shotguns model" thread if you dont understand Cajj) Dude, if your going to put in sweet pump animations, gotta be Cajj style man.
