ive read guides but i cant get the blue texture to be transparent when creating a masked texture in wally. dont tell me to make it solid and fxamount 255 its not that its just in wally i dont know how to get the blue texture working as clear in gameplay. it works when i take a pallette that alwready has it in it and use it but i want to create my own pallette with it. PLEASE HELP !

just make it the right blue and in the game (if its an entity and is solid with the amount of 255) it should be transparent.

It has to be the last color on the palette to work, too, not just 0 0 255.

dude yea i did that but it still doesnt work oh wate you know that top number above the 3 numbers? does that have to be 255 or 0 ill go try that

Yes, yes really. Read other posts, It has to do with the game recognising a certain bit (dunno how it works) of teh palette that makes it transparent. The blue is just to designate where it should be transparent on teh texture.

It's just hardcoded; the engine draws all the visible pixels on the texture unless the pixel it's color is equal to the last color on the texture's palet. Ofcourse this only occurs when a brush it's rendermode is set to solid. :)

i know all that man ive been mapping for a year that was the first thing i learned,,, i think its something in the editor that im doing wrong thow. could someone please tell me what exactly to do to get that color working so i can make some neeto texures. I can get it to work but i have to load a pallette and than all i have are bush colors and the masked texture that i want
(((OH WATE!)))!!! :P i got a better idea.. intstead of loading another pallette, is there any way i can just load that one color and have it work? thanks a lot
