I just got into mapping for CS the editor is pretty cool

i was looking for some example maps that i could download
i already have the example maps in the tutorial section
i was wanting to get some more complicated maps for study.
i basically wanted to find out the best way to model a map you know by carving or making individual brushes
any help on this will be apprecieated. :) :) :)

carving sucks. making individual brushes gives yuo full control over what you do. telling hammer to carve just puts it in the hands of a compter, and you should never trust something that can easily be destroyed by a toothpick (seriously).

btw, check the links page and get zhlt for compiling. if you want better example maps ask the cs team for one of cs's .map files.

Yeah, never ever carve for any reason. Ever.

More complicated maps to study? Check out the Example Maps section of the Map Vault, there's some good stuff there.

I'm not really awake today but my understandings is that you ran out of tutorials right... well like monky dude said goto the Map Vault or you can search google (http://www.google.ca) or use the HL tutorials and use it for CS and gotolinks and get zhlt for easier compiling!
