I started a new map today, and when i tried to test it, (in tfc) it said "map change failed: 'encounter' not found on server"

wth?

make sure the map is being tranfered to your tfc/maps folder and not your valve/maps folder or anything like that.

im pretty sure it isnt.

Try to run it without actually running the game and look at the log file you may have a problem with a coplaner problem or something like that

You might have mixed up some of the settings in Hammer. Take a look again and take a look at your compile log as papacubanlover said.

Wow, maybe all the ERRORS have something to do with it. the map was probably never made, did you check you maps folder?

Locate these brushes and delete them. (Ctrl-Shift-G)

Also, use the 'Check for Problems' tool in Hammer
