Hi

Hi CSes
I have problem with setup visibility in my outdoor map.
How to change value. (Defualt is 4096) I try in map
properties to set value 100000 but I have same problem.

Any help is welcome !!!

Make it something like 7,000-10,000. 100,000 is really large and I dont think the Engine likes that.

Maybe post a screenshot of your problem. Oh and you arent using spirit with env_fog by any chance are you

you need to use proper dimensions. i posted a solution to this in another thread. you need to search the forums before asking q's
take the 4096 number and double it (8192 for all you mathematically inept) - the numbers refer to units btw

beware, increasing vis distance increases r_speeds as it allows more w_poly's to be seen at once. so if you need it for a big open area then you should really try to decrease the size of said area as opposed to using the max viewable distance method
or use some clever hint placement.

First things first, the mapvault isn't ment for uploading screenshots so don't.

Now, your problem, that screenshot is not sharp enough for me to be able to determine what's wrong with the visibile faces in your map. The only thing I can say at this moment is that you lack lights or have a leak in your map. This is a lighting problem though and not a vis problem. Uploading a better screenshot elsewhere would increase the chance of me actually being able to help you.
