Twhl died a long time ago, or so it seemed. I havent seen any map spamming in the past few weeks (or I have seen very little). And the screenshots of maps in the vault now look like good quality maps, cs or not, they look good. Loving this Kasperg guy, seems to have skills at mapping.

It's improving, but it isn't sorted yet. Atom still needs to do his re-organisation of the site. I expect Andy'll probably do something as well.

The moderating of the forums continuesas does the monitoring of the Vault, and things are in the pipeline for general change but to say that the site was dead is a bit harsh.

The funny thing about it being "dead" is that we got more members while it was dying that we normally do? Go figure.

As for the forums...
The majority of posts that are deleted are from Older members who should know better.

Most of the people that said they were leaving or wanted 'change' now, haven't actually left TWHL and continue to post.
Strange really, since the things they wanted changed.... haven't.

As long as we have a community and people get the information they are after.... that is all that matters.

It is up to each of you to decide if you want to provide a bit of help to newbies, the same way that consideration was shown to you not that long ago.

I will try not to use the word n00b. And i wont spam. Only some spammy forums that are spammed i may spam.

Who has more power over TWHL? 7th Monkey, or Andy? Something I have always pondered

To tell the truth, when I started mapping seriously (basically when I got here), I was pretty afraid to ask much as the forum was a bit of a snakepit of flaming and nonsense. I just read back-threads and all the tutorials, and let other noobs take the flak from the small band of 31337 members and looked for the sensible responses from seventh etc. I have to admit that Ive noticed a marked difference in the quality of reponses, especially to the more complicated problems so everyone is definately pulling their weight around here!

Andy, is i guess, Second in command.

Seventh is just a moderator. Andy can post news and do all sorts of stuff (editing profiles?). Andy is one of the sites original members if I am correct.

i thought andy was the owner of the site.

Atom is the owner of the site, Andy just watched over it.

Atom owns the site and is the Primary administrator.

I look after day to day operations, monitor the content and post News.

The rest of the team have admin access to the forums and Map Vault.
