Hey all. I had this fun idea which I don't feel like fully explaining. Anyways, I was wondering if it is possible to zap all players with the push of a button. It probably is, but I don't know how. If not zap, then just kill all. Thanks ^^

Learn how to set up env_beams and then put env_beams everywhere. Have your button target the beams. Then somwhere, doesn't matter where, you put a trigger_relay with the same target and name as the beams, set the delay before trigger to 1 and set the trigger condition to off. Now when you press the button it will send lasers everywhere and will shut off after 1 second. Should work again when you press the button again.

Or you could place a trigger_hurt in your map that covers everywhere a player could be and have the button target that.

Coolfat, your idea would work, but it would not target the players, and rather just spots in the map. I guess I could put many beams...

And Slayer, that would take forever!! To put trigger_hurts all over the map

Just put a huge one over the hole map.

Well I thought you were looking for beams too, OH use env_fade and have it flash white or something. That would give the impression of a zap.... or nuke... either way everyone DIES

if you do a trigger_hurt put it over the whole map, have the damage be like whatever you want and damage type be zap (or something similar)

Not in the whole map! Unless you want this to be a take-everyone-down-with-you button.

lol make the whole entire floor a door that opens up to a huge pit of spikes. lol gay idea!
