If anyone has been trying to keep up to date with my RPG in the making, The Outcast, well... I finally made somewhat of an update to let anxious people know how far I am. www.freewebs.com/outcaststatus
Anyone who doesn't know what The Outcast is go to my website and find the link but most of you should know what I'm talking about.

I tend to hate all programs made by programs.

Well its going to be a good game, Ive been making it (working on and off) for 2 years now. Im hoping to have the gameplay of actually following the story the whole game about 3-4 hours long and if you do everything to can, about 7-8 hours long. So it'll be pretty big. Its a lot different making an rpg, even if its made with a fairly simple program.

okay, whats the size of it now?

22.7 megabytes.

Zombieman, hate programs made by programs>? Thats what mapping is used for!

Neither did I, that is untill The Outcast hit me. Good game ideas come to me at random, but I usuall dont do anything about them. I went through I think 4 other unfinished rpgs.

4! Try about 20! I spend a whole lot of time perfecting one little thing, and end up giving up on the entire RPG.

What is that game? Made using RPG maker? I was making fun with it long ago (with newest, illegal version ;) ) And i can say that it sucks a little :P . All games made by it are very similiar, and i can never find any REALY GOOD games for it. I hope to play your game if it'll be working on RPG maker 2k4. (rpg maker 2k sucks VERY much)

2k 4 wasnt out when I started making The Outcast, and since it uses things like seeing your chtacters in combat, I doubt it would be possible to convert everything and I don't want to start the whole game over from scratch.

No. Maps are maps made by a program.
Compilers are tools made of people, so I have no idea wtf seventh is on about.

Compilers are programs too, was my point. They turn the code into another program. That covers practically everything :P
