ok i asked this before in a way but its completely different ish
everyone nos the good ol hl intro train sequence
and i wish to make one not as good as that but slightely similar
it will take a lot of work and i wanna no how they did sum of the things
if u dont remember it then i suggest you play hl again just to jog memory
if ther is an example map plz do tell
i hav the train already made wit seats etc but now i want to make the sequence where it moves etc in a sorta base cause i am not making a mod (not experienced enough yet) i just want to make a map pack where you travel through a train place on a train then you stop at a place (havent decided what this place is yet)

so what i want to you answer if you didnt understand is all the things valve used to make the train sequence in hl

thnkyou to whoever replies even if its not answering Q lol :D

what i want to do is make a train sequence where it moves through different places like at the beggining of hl wer u enter black mesa (i want sumthing like that, now i have the train already made but now i hav to build a track, and the map itself but i need info before i map otherwise i may waste my precious time

What prefab?
If you mean the train prefab, he says he's already made a train.
Well the train sequence is as far as i can remember:
Func_door-for the doors that open
gger_onceTo open the doors and set off the sequences
Aiscripted_sequence-To make the scientists move etc.
Monster_scientist-A scientist
Monster_barney-A security guard
Func_breakable-for the reflective floors
Func_door_rotating-for the bridge bit where the railing raise to let you through
func_train-to get the train to move among other things
Path_corner-For the trains to follow.
Func_water-for the water
Trigger_autosave-to save the game as you go along

Doors

func_train

glass

Scripting

Water

Im sure there are more entities used but im tired.
Those tutorials are basically what was used but adapted to do things like the moving bridge.

Making glass, then you select all of the area you want reflected, and flip it upside down so that the 2 areas of glass are touching, they you make the glass slightly seethrough so that it looks reflective.
