when im mapping and i then press F9 to view what i have created the coding appears and then when HL opens it syays that map2 (my maps filename) not found on server.

i dont understand why. it might have something to do with that i am creating a cs map and trying to view it in HL but i dont know. if anyone can help then please do so as i would be extremely grateful.

You have to check where all the maps are being saved to.

lol yeh thats part of it u cant play hl maps in cs unless it has no hl entities inside it coz it cant understand sum of the entities that hl can supply!

i think it says that coz ur using hl config and u told it to save ur map in the hl directory so wat i mean is that hav u tried the map in hl as that might be why!

that or u set cs config wrong? but i doubt it

im just wondering, but why were you trying to run a cs map in hl? thats like trying to open a can of hienz with a butter knife.

well not really, because eventually the can will dent and get a hole in it.
