have made many a texture with wally but need to know how to make animated textures,

asking cause my copie of wally doesn't have a help file.....

If you've made textures with Wally then you can make animated textures.

First, read the Beginners' tutorials. It explains that animated textures begin with '+'.

Second, take a look at the animated textures that come with the half-life wad. You can browse them in Hammer.

google for wally help.

an animated texture is made liek so:

create your series of textures, ie a light switch in teh ON and OFF position (for example)

now in wally name teh FIRST texture in the series:

+0_texname

the next:

+1_texname

note that you can only have 10 textures in an animated series, so it will go from +0 to +9 only.
