Yeah, it?s a nice band... His guitarrist looks EXACTLY as the former keyboardist of my former band. Think they could be set in the Power Metal wave from the Northern European countries, try them, you may like it.
Try also Angra if you like this kind of fast stuff.

Sariborius!!!!!!!!!!. I REALLY HATE YOU :P. Just Kidding... Damn, they don?t come to Spain as often as I would like but... What do you think about DEATHCULT ARMAGEDDON?. I think is a very strong plus beautiful album, following close the tracks of PURITANIC EUPHORICAL MISANTHROPIA, I like it... Anyway, those strange pseudo-military sound annoy me a little, I thought that the relationships between black metal and political diseases was over, what do you think about that?. I read in an interview with Silenoz that "politics are for the politicians" but these samples annoy me much!.
Posted 20 years ago2003-10-29 17:14:58 UTC Post #3587
WOOO! IRON MAIDEN ROCK! im gonna c them on the 7th december (as i have pointed out more timex than is good for all of us...)
Posted 20 years ago2003-10-31 09:38:18 UTC Post #3730
I just sat for 10 min writing a response to Marlborometal, when my computer decided to get F.UP...Let try it again..

I love DCA, its one of their best albums IMO. Its both brutal and melodic and the balance between black metal and classical music is perfect :D

As for the military sounds in the beginning of Unorthodox Manifesto..
it is a bit annoying, yet it fits in if you read the lyrics of Eradication Instincts Defined..
I have not thought about the polictical aspects of it, however its true what Silenoz says. politic is for politicians.

I hope they come to spain soon, they are 935723947 times better live=)

Posted 20 years ago2003-11-01 15:30:03 UTC Post #3809
I don't know honestly, as i said, i think DCA is their best album yet but..

hm..I would have to say pre SBD, But that's mainly because of Stormbl?st, which is a damn good album. And since i live in sweden i actually understand the lyrics :D

what about you Marlborometal? Pre or Post SBD`?

Ok, I don't think they sound like Covenant on For All Tid, but that album is strange..=)

I like Cradle Of Filth as well, especially Midian..that's a great album..
Yet, Dimmu Borgir is much better due to their ability to create more and more complex music and still keep it interesting.

Didn't astennu Join for SBD?

i'm pretty sure he did'nt play with Dimmu on their earlier work..

Yeah, Nicholas is a really good drummer and he gives the songs some real brutality, =)
Posted 20 years ago2003-11-03 12:32:36 UTC Post #3872
Think he Joined there with Mustis, the keyboardist (he was 17 or something like that!!!)... He joined some band whose name I can?t remember after recording with covenant, and that?s a pity for he was a real good guitar player, mixing those rock, metal and black styles (solos like the one in SBD are worth a hear!!!!).
Nicholas is a BEAST. No doubt he?s one of the best drummers in extreme metal along with Pete Sandoval, from Morbid Angel. By the way, what?s your opinion about this other band?. Do you listen to any other kind of metal???.
Posted 20 years ago2003-11-04 04:26:41 UTC Post #3909
Well i haven't listen very much to his other band (Covenant?) but i think they are ok. :)

I mostly listen to black and death, and some power...How about you?
Posted 20 years ago2003-11-04 07:34:24 UTC Post #3911
I highly reccomend you to listen to Nexs Polaris, it highly impressed me a few years ago, when it came out (parallel to Spiritual Black Dimensions, I think)...
And about music... Well, I listen to everything... Metal is my main field, in all its variants, classic, progressive, power, black, death, thrash... Also listen to rock oriented things, mainly Hard Rock and since I?m a guitar player I tend to listen to every guitar record that I know of :D... Also listen other kinds of music, outside metal... Classical, jazz and some other things in little bits. I like inventive stuff as well as like good musicians... By the way, I think that in your country you recieve a GREAT musical education in school. Is that true???.
Posted 20 years ago2003-11-04 08:16:29 UTC Post #3914
I guess that's true, i don't know how it is in spain...:)
we have (or had, i'm i college now) a music lesson every week for about 5 years..so you learn quite a bit about music=)

I play the drums myself, or..i can play the drums but i don't just now..
Posted 20 years ago2003-11-04 19:32:08 UTC Post #3969
In Spain the thing sucks!!!. I didn?t recieve a single music lesson (and I?m a music teacher now!!!!) in my whole life until I was 18 and went for a year to the conservatory!!!.
As a result of this, our musical taste is awful, we don?t have any critical sense for the things we hear and, well, our industry is full of nonsenses that have a short range of lifetime... Really boring. Don?t really have an underground state where music blooms, don?t recieve any official help... Even in my particular city (Seville, one of the most beautiful cities in Spain if we believe what they say) we don?t have a place to have gigs!!. Only got two little (LITTLE, more or less like 3 times my kitchen) concert rooms that demand abusive amounts of money for you to play there... Well, musical education and structures here suck.
I envy you ?cos I think that your underground state is quite alive... I also envy you ?cos I wanted to play drums!.
Posted 20 years ago2003-11-05 09:43:34 UTC Post #3998
That Sux man...=(

in my city (G?vle) there are lots of places to rehearse and stuff...and there are quite a few underground bands in G?vle as well.
And also, many people hera are in to Metal, which is good..

There are even places where you can rehearse with your band for free

I guess that's why the metal scene is so big in scandinavia.. i can imagine that it is similar in Norway And Finland And Denmark..
Posted 20 years ago2003-11-05 10:12:53 UTC Post #4002
yah we all remember las ketchup ;)
Posted 20 years ago2003-11-05 14:38:54 UTC Post #4032
Las ketchut made me VOMIT for almost a whole summer... I tried to hide from them but when I realised they were everywhere!!!, even my girlfriend got stuck with the song, it was almost a nightmare... Fortunately it?s over now but... Zombieloffe, where are you from???. If you ain?t from Spain, how far did these stupid girls get to????....
And for Sariborius... Once again, I envy you!!!. We were asked to pay around 120 euros (much money) to play in a mouse-house with another band (you know, split-time)... And that was a cheap place (believe me, we don?t have much money to pay for this stuff...).
Fortunately, we have managed to get our things to one of our members house, inside his garage. We will try to make it look like a place to play instead of a dirty hole, there?s much work to do!!!!.

lol im from sweden
those b''ches got damn popular here to they were a plague
Posted 20 years ago2003-11-05 20:06:11 UTC Post #4083
Well... We exported the plague and for it we are very sorry... Just hope that nothing except a very little vomitive stuff from here gets there. Believe me, you?d just want to die soon!!!!. Don?t you have those freaks in Sweden?. By the way, like that 80?s Hard Rock band, Europe?. Think they were from Sweden...
Posted 20 years ago2003-11-06 10:22:35 UTC Post #4109
theres a damn lot of hardrock bands in sweden...
they suck, most of em
Posted 20 years ago2003-11-07 14:56:49 UTC Post #4186
I don't like Europe, it's not my kind of music..but the final countdown is a classic :)
One of the support bands (Norther) at the DB concert played it (with Growl), that was pretty cool :)
Posted 20 years ago2003-11-08 08:51:45 UTC Post #4242
Hehe, I loved it. Still I enjoy if I hear it but my ears are now wider... By the way, I re-listened to Nexus Polaris, the first Covenant album and it?s REALLY recommendable!!!. Astennu on Guitars and Hellhammer on drums, not to mention Nagash on vocals and bass... And Sarah Jezebel Deeva in some songs... It?s really good musically. Try it if you can :).
Posted 20 years ago2003-11-08 08:59:34 UTC Post #4244
the only good music from europe is New wave of british heavy metal(iron maiden and them) and nightwish
