i know that u can put a scientist in a map but can u make is it so u have to bring him to a rescue spot. or is that only is in C.S ??

I don't believe that's feasible with the original Half-Life. I am not sure about HL2.

You would need to change the model of the buy in CS to the scientist, which is very possible, seeing that they did it in Italy. This will not work in HL though, although there is a way you can mimick it.

Make it so that when the scientists is in a certain point, it triggers whatever you want to happen, like a sound or a door opening. Scientists will follow you if you press e by them.

Also, you can have it so that when they die, a black screen pops up and says that you lost.

Well, you want to use the TriggerCondition field of the monster_scientist, set that to 'death', and target <entities>.

You may want:

env_fade
game_text
trigger_once with "No clients" and "Monsters" both checked
Seventh-Monkey Seventh-MonkeyPretty nifty
