1.) My flashlight wont work. It only shines on models.
2.)Some textures and/or models and/or sprites arent showing up. Just appearing white.
3.) My HL2DM will not load due to memory shit. I cant seem to find something to fix it.

Is anyone else having these problems and how can i fix them?

BTW: HL2 is a really great game. :D

Problem: Old hardware
Solution: New hardware + loads of cash + computers skills (And for the love of god dont buy a prebuilt pc since they all fucking suck ass).

What spec is your PC?

Update drivers, DirectX, maybe even update your BIOS if any of the issues are referred to as fixed in the changelog. Format. In that order.

I got a new PC now that im running it on.

Specs:
-512 mb of ram.
-2.4 ghz prccesor. (Intel Celeron)

How do you find the graphics card and such stuff like that?

Get some more RAM and decent graphics. I assume you don't have an AGP slot, so that severly restricts your upgrade path.

I would strongly recommend you buy a new motherboard and mid-range AGP card instead.

I share the same problems.

My flashlight aint working, and certain textures dont show up - instead there's a bright white square.

Also, when glass is shot out a white coloured wireframe appears in place. Really annoying.

My HLDM works great though :P

#1. Cards dont HAVE direct X you have to install them.
#2. OTHER people are having the same problem so you need to stfu.

Whats wrong with Dell?

Before i got Dell i had gateway and do you have any idea how much money and grief that caused me about 100,000 pounds worth untill i just gave up and bought a new computer and it plays like a puss! ;)

Im not a computer guy to be honest i just know how to do stuff on windows but theres really clever people out there who can build a comp from parts and can do almost anything on a comp :D
