With the HL2 SDK, there is a thing that helps us make mods. It asks for a directory and what the name is, and I dont understand why there are 2 seperate folders instead of one.
1) Where do I put the mod folders when it asks me to?

There is no map folder or anything.
2) Where would my maps go?

3) Do I need to compile all of the source that is in the folders, or do I just leave them alone?

What manual?

If you mean the documents that are on the SDK menu, those have connection errors evey time I try to read them.

Could you list the adress(es) for the manual(s)?

To be honest i dont like that make a mod function seems too noobish like clicking a button where as i do it manually like a viking :/

making mods manually is like using linux. someone out there knows everything about it and can do it well, while everybody else plays videogames.
