now i installed hl2 into C:Sierra and not steam and now i cant get the sdk and the cd was not mine it was my freinds cd i gived it back and now i cant get the sdk.I tried to move the Half-Life 2 folder to Steamapps in steam dir.But steam cant find it what do i have to do???

ok, HL2 will not work without Steam...
Using your friend's CD key is not advisable, since Steam logs those, and you can only register a CD key Once. So the one you got won't work for you.
You'll be able to get the SDK once you get the game and set everything up properly i imagine.
