I put light dynamics in my CS:S maps and they dont appear in the game.

Does light_dynamics work with counter-strike source? or is it only for Half-life2?

Ligh dynamincs are not good, in my opinion. I just use lights, and light_enviroment.

I wasnt asking you.

But if your flash light doesnt work, its probably for the same reason your light_dynamics dont work. It probably uses the same type of rendering or whatever.

light_dynamics are only to be parented with things, if the light does not need to move use a standard light_spot.

If it's not functioning, check your flags, and your helper settings - Spotlighting is a bit wacky.

i read somewhere that light_dynamics won't be rendered if you haven't got any of the other lights in your level. can't really say if it's true or not.

try putting an ordinary light entity in your level somewhere and then see if the light_dynamics shows up.
