Where is the option in Steam to 'retrieve account info'? It's described in Valve's help page but I can't find it. Plz help, I'm trying to reinstall HL1 to do some classic mapping (Source so hard!).

SORRY I found it. I had to log out first. I'll make the waste of your time up to you by producing a quality HL1 map if/when I can- my CD-key's not working.

So you really believe Source mapping is harder?

I don't truely know but I find it much more conveniant and easy to use.

The input/output system makes entity work easier but to make a decent source map requires a lot more detail, which means more time, effort etc. Yep, I'm just lazy . Anyway, to cut a long story short I can't get my (legitimate) copy of HL1 to register with steam, but I've installed Hammer 3.4 etc. so I can map. But will my maps be useable for people using HL1 with steam?

Okay I can map with Hammer 3.4 now. Habboi did you mean how will I know if they work with Steam? I suppose I'll just release them to the hungry gamers of TWHL.
