I've had this sudden creative burst, an idea for a mod, and I'll need a lot of help.

The mod is called "Almanta" and the script (wip) can be read here:

http://np.shattereddays.net/Almanta.txt

Right now all I need is somebody/people knowledgeable in Mod-Making, maybe a voice actor or two (no need to be professional), and a Mapper or two.

I really think we could make this into something great =D

Also, the basic jist of the story is that you were convicted for murder but it wasn't a very concrete conviction and the Administrator of the Prison (Almanta) plots a scheme to keep you from being paroled.

You get away and you just try to survive all the forces coming for you (Ironic because you're now killing people to get away from the prison you weren't supposed to be in because you didn't kill anybody in the first place (this creates tension later in the game))

So yeah.

I'd like to get this started as soon as possible :D

I suppose I could help as it will help me improve my SP mapping and the City 13 mod is failing and I might as well just leave...

you'd think he was hadn't had a day or two in the showers
Eh?

I must say I like the script. I think the guard sounds a little na?ve though. Also, why is this perfect-behaviour bloke overseeing a fight anyway?

I predict that only 20% of the mods out there will actually be released within the next few years. The rest of them will die out, or if they are released- they will be released when the engine begins to get outdated.

Thats why I have been so skeptical about joining a mod team. It seems like there are so many mods, but not enough dedicated people to get them all done.

I think it would almost be better if people stop creating mods, and cancel the ones that aren;t going anywhere to help work on and finish the better mods out there which might have a chance to be released

I had a feeling that the City 13 mod was gonna fail but I still joined ages ago and guess what?

The Mod leader is giving up :/

I really see this happening, actually. Even I like the story and mood I'm making and normally I hate most of the stuff that I make. =/
