I have the option disabled to see avatars and images in the forums, and still I am seeing all of it. Maybe something is wrong with the code?

Odd, I just tested it and it works fine for me. Try emptying your cache and refreshing the pages.

Exactly what I was going to suggest. It's most likely finding that image in your cache and showing it because it doesn't need to load it again. I can't see this being an issue... unless you have goatse or something in your cache.

I can't see why it should be the cache ? unless it was caching the entire page (the images aren't referenced in the no-pic pages), or unless, Scott, you've hit back instead of travelling to pastures new.
