How can I make a computer controlled func_tank or tankrocket that shoots towards a target or even players?
Now I mean a turret that is not operated by a soldier...

BTW how to make turret operated by a soldier? :P

Hmm...was I blind or...? I dunno but I couldn't find the fully CPU operated tank (if I made the last message bit a messy, I meant the non-soldier & non-player controllable tank)

Just check the active flag on... the solider controled tank isn't really controled by the solider it's just that when the solider dies it dies too, understood.

I was wondering it can i make non-player funk_tank to counter-strike 1.6?
I can't get it work. :(

I'll think it func_tank dosent work without gunner in cs 1.6, but still hoping it does...

I very much doubt it.

It's conventional not to reply to very old forum topics, by the way, with a similar question. Just make a new thread in future :).

But I did just remember it cs 1.5 did have training game and there was many automatinc turrets. :|
So I't must be bossible somehow. :roll:

EDIT : I finally did get the turret works like it should work. :) Maby i put example map here someday I have time because i got so much work and ideas to do to my singleplayer cs map. :)

You most certainly can.

Afaik, they behave exactly the same in CS as they do in plaino HL. I think Seventh-Monkey and Elon Yariv were thinking of Monster_turrets, which don't work in CS...

Just make a func_tank per the tutorial, check the active flag, and it will shoot the anus out of ya...
