Yo,
I read the tutorial (using vertex manipulation on triangular prismy things) on how to make ground and cliff's and stuff and it works fine but i always end up with gaps or edges on the ground.

I try to match up all the corners and sides but another side/corner gets uneven when i do even up one side/corner.
Is it just practise that helps or are there some tips to making my ground look better???

There's no point in doing terrain like that for Source. Use displacement maps (consult the SDK documentation if you don't know how).
