Hello. Right, I have tried so hard and looked for tutorials on this, so, this is my last resort.
I want to set up Counter-Strike. NOT CS :S because that is done automaticly. I'm using Hammer 3.4, but my counter-strike is installed in steam. So, things like "Mod directory (ex: C:halflifetfc)" But in the counter strike directory there is no tfc folder. I've read the "Guide to setting up Hammer" tutorial, But I just don't understand how to make it work with counter-strike. Counter-Strike is installed in steam. It is not Counter-Strike Source I'm talking about. I would be most grateful if someone could help me set it up. Thank you

ah, thats just an example. you don't need to have a TFC directory.

normaly it will be aranged as so(outside steam)
C:sierracounterstrikecstrike

im not quite sure of how it is in steam but it should be something like:
C:programfilessteamsteamapps'yournamehere'Counterstikecstrike

but read the tutorials on setting up hammer by clicking on the tutorials but to your left, that should help.

And i'd suggest downloading hammer 3.5... 3.4 is kinda old :

What's the diffrence?

OH great, I have to wait f***ing 30 minutes to download it!

3.5 has model support, 3.4 doesn't. So in 3.4 you get a bound box, in 3.5 they actually show up. Sort of a prequel to Hammer 4 in a way.
